Diaphragms and inclined planes redefine the space for reception and relaxation within a production site.

The new identity of an entrance and break space within a manufacturing plant, which has been remodeled several times over the years, regains its own identity and new functionality through the insertion of two permeable partitions that are inclined to each other. Their offset allows two distinct areas to be clearly identified: an entrance lobby, with lounges and cabinets available to guests and visitors, and a break and relaxation area for employees and outsiders.

The diaphragms composed of lacquered MDF blades integrate benches, countertops and video devices into their volume, denoting the different areas of their own function, yet in the fluidity of spatial perception, characterized by a diffuse visual porosity.

The back wall is lined with cork so that it takes on the appearance of an announcement board, while the sides perpendicular to it integrate food and drink vending machines.

The black expanded metal ceiling houses a series of polychrome fabric discs having an anti-acoustic reverberation function.
