The settlement solution involves the construction of a compact, multifunctional building to the north-east of the industrial area, on four levels above ground and intended to house collective functions, including a portion of office space.
The project has created a service centre to support users and production activities, connected and complementary to the industrial function, generating new opportunities for relations with the other poles of the business system, with the city and between the functions of the sector itself.
The regular geometry of the building, oriented longitudinally with respect to the axis of Via San Leonardo, echoes the layout of the other buildings present, becoming a gateway to the area.
The stereometric mesh of the façade design gives order and three-dimensionality to the building envelope, explicitly denouncing the texture of the structural elements and alternating opaque, semi-transparent and transparent modularity in an alternation of depths obtained through the application of expanded steel mesh panels.
